摘要

目的提升包装薄膜气体阻隔性能,并兼顾其各项性能。方法采用硅烷偶联剂改性埃洛石纳米管、膨胀石墨纳米填料,通过共混吹塑,制备具有较高阻隔性能的聚乙烯基复合包装薄膜。研究填料的种类、尺寸、表面偶联剂改性及添加量等因素对薄膜的微观结构、表面亲疏水性、气体阻隔性、力学性能及透光性能等的影响。结果经KH570硅烷偶联剂改性的埃洛石纳米管填料与聚乙烯基体具有更好的相容性。当填料添加量为30%时,复合薄膜的阻隔性能达到最佳,水蒸气透过率和氧气透过率最高分别降低了90.21%和88.45%;当添加量为5%时,力学性能最优,抗拉强度和断裂伸长率最高分别提升了38.05%和59.47%。综合兼顾阻隔性能与力学性能,根据应用场景需求,建议填料添加量范围为5%~15%。当添加量超过30%时,薄膜已无法满足包装材料的实际应用要求。结论经KH570改性埃洛石纳米管与聚乙烯相容性好。添加量为5%时薄膜力学性能最优;添加量为30%时阻隔性能最佳,水蒸气和氧气透过率最高可降低90%,为新型高气体阻隔包装薄膜的开发与应用提供了理论和技术依据。

Abstract

The work aims to enhance the gas barrier property of packaging films while maintaining their overall properties. The modified halloysite nanotubes and expanded graphite were blended with polyethylene to fabricate packaging films with high gas barrier property. The effects of nano-fillers' type, size, surface modification, and addition amount on the fabricated films' micro-structure, hydrophilicity, gas barrier property, mechanical property, and light transmission were studied. The results showed that the halloysite nanotubes modified by KH570 silane coupling agent exhibited better compatibility with the polyethylene matrix. When the filler content was 30%, the barrier properties of the composite films reached their optimum, with the water vapor permeability and oxygen permeability reduced by 90.21% and 88.45% respectively; At a loading of 5%, the mechanical properties were optimal, with tensile strength and elongation at break increased by 38.05% and 59.47% respectively. Balancing barrier and mechanical properties, and considering application requirements, a filler loading range of 5%-15% was recommended. When the loading exceeded 30%, the films failed to meet the practical application requirements for packaging materials. In conclusion, the KH570-modified illite nanotubes exhibit good compatibility with polyethylene. The mechanical properties of the films are optimal at a 5% loading; the barrier properties are the best at a 30% loading, with water vapor and oxygen permeability reduced by up to 90%. This research provides theoretical and technical basis for the development and application of novel high gas-barrier packaging films.
