Abstract
The work aims to put forward the electromechanical compound cam mechanism, namely, connect the electric cam with the mechanical cam in series, for the purpose of controlling the mechanical cam input axis by changing the output of electric cam. By means of constructing the parameterized model for the motion law of compound mechanism, the motion law of followers was studied. The control of cam input shaft could be visualized by Matlab human-machine interface. With the effective combination of electric cam and mechanical cam, the motion law curve of electromechanical compound cam mechanism was obtained. The change in phased speed size and direction and the start/stop of cam input shaft are achieved. On the basis of maintaining the original cam profile, the customized production is achieved and the motion curve of followers is changed from a single form into a diversified one.
