It aims to explore the forms and application methods of different media in "uneven flat" works, and let diversified media playing important role of innovation in design. By analyzing several different excellent domestic and foreign cases, it generalizes the three major types of media: same form with same substance, same form with different substance, and different form with different substance; and summarizes the design methods of using media as well as the research directions of diversified media in the future. The researches and applications of diversified media in "uneven flat" design can help to broaden the concept of graphic design and creative expressions, and help designers improve the visual effects and design values to meet the needs of audience. During the design practice, it is important and necessary for designers to fully consider these aspects: the combination ways of graphics and media, the space proportion, the preservation of media and its emotional properties.
