Finite Element Analysis of Static and Dynamic Mechanical Properties of Cage Pallet

Abstract

With the new warehouse equipment cage pallet as the research object, the work aims to study its state of force by finite element software. Model of the cage pallet was established by SolidWorks software, and structural statics was analyzed in Ansys Workbench and drop analysis was conducted in Ansys LS-DYNA. The related stress, strain, displacement and data were obtained. Analysis of structure static showed that the maximum stress of bottom pallet was 5.18 MPa, and the maximum displacement was 1.2 mm. Surface drop analysis showed that the biggest stress of cage was 2 MPa and the maximum displacement of the pallet at the bottom was 16.51 mm. In conclusion, the part of cage bottom tray where no support is applied is seriously deformed and damaged. This study provides a basis for the structural optimization of cage tray.
