Abstract

This work aimed to study the factors affecting the compression strength of plastic foldable container. The compression strength and its changing rule of plastic foldable container with different sizes were studied by compression test. The load-deformation curves and the corresponding compression strength of plastic foldable container with different girth at different temperature were obtained. The compression strength of plastic foldable container decreased with the increase of temperature and girth within a certain range. The effect of girth on compression strength was relatively small at high temperature.
