Abstract
The aim of this study was to realize the transformation of skin colors from detected skin color to preferred one considering cognition formed from long-time observation practice on colors and subjective preference for memory skin colors. The database of preferred skin was established by selecting representative populations, photographing skin color data and psychological physical tests, and an elliptical model was built using YCbCr color space to simulate the distribution of skin colors and preferred skin colors. Using this elliptical model, a preferred skin color reproduction algorithm based on affine transformation was proposed in this paper. Transformation and reproduction of preferred skin colors from detected skin colors were realized in the input images. And Thurston′ s Law of Comparison was used to evaluate the reproduction results of the affine transformation reproduction algorithm and other algorithms. The proposed algorithm was better in preferred skin color reproduction in most cases and was subjectively preferred.
