Abstract
The aim of this study was to design a new type of conveying platform composed of a chain and a hydraulic cylinder according to the special needs in product packaging field. The 3D model of conveying platform was established through the Proe software. Then the pallet was analyzed and optimized with the help of the finite element analysis software Ansys Workbench so as to get the maximum deformation and equivalent stress. The 3D model was assembled to show that the conveying platform with lifting mechanism can meet requirements of the delivery process. The finite element analysis and optimization was conducted to the pallet, not only meeting the requirements of the pallet's stress and strain , but also making its own weight reduced by 20.7% . The scheme has certain feasibility. The structure of the lifting mechanism is complex, but it can skillfully satisfy the movement requirements.
