This study aimed to investigate Chinese food and the operation mechanism of food packing supply chain logistics from the view point of supply chain logistics. Using the basic concepts of supply chain management and logistics management, the status quo, problems and related factors of food supply chain logistics operation were analyzed from principle and research methods of the perspective of food safety. The three major operation mechanism of food supply chain logistics were clearly put forward, namely, to establish security mechanisms, including the main content and the construction of the purchase of food packaging safety, cold chain and traces the three core logistics system; to set up food supply chain logistics integration mechanism; to set up food supply chain logistics enterprises public moral responsibility mechanism. It is necessary to study operation mechanism of food supply chain logistics from the perspective of food safety, and establish food packaging supply chain logistics safety guarantee system, which will contribute to the establishment of long-term effective mechanism for food safety and food packaging logistics.
