Abstract

To solve the problem of massive calculation in the design of cylindrical helical compression spring, and the problem of repeated building of two-dimensional and three-dimensional models of the spring, and to realize the automatic design of spring. The design program of cylindrical helical compression spring was developed using VC ++ 6.0, and the spring structure parameters were obtained through program operation. Two-dimensional three-dimensional parametric models of cylindrical helical compression spring were established using SolidWorks, with the spring structure parameters as the driving dimensions. By simply typing in the spring requirements, the design staff could obtain the spring structure parameters meeting the requirements, and two-dimensional and three-dimensional models for the spring were automatically established. This method greatly improved the designing efficiency, and has practical and promoting values.
