Abstract

To design cushion packaging for fragile commodity based on corrugated cardboard packaging material. Glass was selected as a design object, and the package shape and size of fragile commodity were determined based on ergonomics and national standards. The existing forms of packaging used in transportation, carrying, and sales presentations were discussed to find their advantages and disadvantages. According to the packaging properties of corrugated board, the cushion packaging structure of glass based on corrugated cardboard was designed to overcome existing drawbacks and could be used during transportation, carrying and sales presentations. The optimal cushion packaging structure was designed for fragile commodity based on corrugated cardboard.
