Abstract

Objective To use Grid Matrix 2D Barcode as automatic identification technology for lifecycle management of small package lubricant. Methods Through analyzing features and current situation of the usage of small package lubricant, the items of GM label content were summarized according to the process of business in lubricant logistic, the database system of lubricant lifecycle was set up which contained both the software and hardware at the same time, and then GM label was made on the package of lubricant, realizing information management for the whole lifecycle of small packed lubricant. Results With the information construction and the practice on lubricant management, management on small package lubricant could be effectively finished. Conclusion GM Code is competent for Lifecycle Management of military small package lubricant.
