Lightness, chroma, and hue were optimized based on CIECAM02-Jab using XUT dataset. The uniform color difference was revised and a Euclidean color difference was derived. A color difference formula was based on Jab color space was established. The testing result showed that the new formula has better performance in calculating color difference and a uniform color space; it is simple in form.
