Abstract

In order to improve the production efficiency of corrugated cardboard, microwave drying process was put forward. The influence of microwave power, the drying time, amount of glue and pressure time on edgewise crush resistance and bond strength of the corrugated cardboard was studied through single factor and orthogonal experiments. The result showed that the optimal technological parameters are microwave power 600 W, the drying time 50 s, the amount of glue 55 g/ m2 , and pressure time 10 min. Under the optimal technological parameters, the edgewise crush resistance and bond strength are up to 7618. 32 N/ m and 864. 33N/ m respectively, conforming to the requirements of product.
