Optimization of Quality Control Parameters of Thermal CTP System

Abstract

Exposure parameter and developing temperature optimization experiments were carried out using orthogonal experimental design method, combining with practical application, and selecting the main parameters affecting platemaking quality, which were laser power, developing temperature, and developing time. The experimental results showed that, among various factors, laser power has the greatest impact on plate making quality of thermal CTP system, followed by developing temperature and developing speed. Best operating parameters of an experimental thermal CTP system was obtained.
