Product packaging information management system was developed based on VB and Excel/ AutoCAD secondary development. The system used the powerful capabilities of VB programming in interface, combined with AutoCAD graphics rendering capabilities and Excel's convenient storage for large capacity data. The system can accomplish automatic packaging design based on the existing PDM product data and realize the functions of automatic design and generation of engineering graphics of packaging structure, the automatic generation and management of the packaging information files, and many other system's features.
