Abstract
Cutting angle structure was added to traditional corrugated carton to form irregular shaped polygonal carton, which can be suitable for integral fast packaging box of liner and outside box. The effect of cutting angle structure on the carton's compressive strength was studied through experiments, and the effects of cutting angle sizes, cutting angle, and the number of cutting angle on the carton's compressive strength was compared. The results showed that when other structural parameters remain unchanged, the cartons compressive strength enhances in a certain range with the increase of the length of the cutting angle; the cutting angle be closer to 45°, the compressive strength will be larger; the more cutting angle number, the more obviously compressive strength increased. The results of experiments provides a theoretical basis for structure design of integral fast packaging box, and also has reference value on structural design by using cutting angle to improve cartons compressive strength.
