The dynamic characteristic of ammunition is important factor leading ammunition to damage or failure under highway transportation, which is also the base of researching highway transportation safety. The research status of dy- namic characteristics for ammunition highway transportation was summarized from the aspects of shock and vibration. Finally, the problems to be further researched and improved in this field were put forward.
