The test data processing software for cushioning packaging materials under the vibration or impact loading conditions was developed based on MATLAB/ GUI, which was independent from MATLAB software. The software can identify parameters of theoretical mechanics model from test data, which provide solid foundation for optimal design of packaging structure. The application of this software was introduced with specific example.
