Food packaging materials migration has become focuses of study at home and abroad due to its potential and hidden hazards to food safety. The migration rules of food packaging materials were summarized from eight aspects based on theoretical and experimental results. Five preventive measures to the migration hazards of food packaging materials were put forward.
