The study of PBS was reviewed and analyzed, including synthesis method, blending modification, copolymerization modification, chain extension modification, composites, etc. The application of PBS was summarized, which was extended from medicine packaging and fiber springing to papermaking, flame retardants and water treatment. The development prospect of PBS was also pointed out.
