Abstract

Soybean protein adhesive was obtained from modified soybean protein and GMA with APS-NaHSO-3 initiator system by grafting polymerization at 50 ℃ in water-bath. The stability and apparent viscosity of the adhesive was investigated. The influence of GMA content, APS-NaHSO-3 ratio, and hot-pressing condition on shear strength and water resistance of the adhesive was investigated.
