silver-loaded zeolite antibacterial agent was prepared by ion-exchanging method, and different concentrations of silver-loaded zeolite were added into 2%（w/w）PVA solution to prepare antibacterial kraft paper. Thickness and quantities, antibacterial and antifungal properties of antibacterial kraft papers were studied respectively. The results showed that the content of silver in silver-loaded zeolites is high and the structure of zeolite isn't damaged; the addition of antibacterial agent has a little effect on the thickness and quantity of kraft paper; when the addition of silver-loaded zeolite in 100ml 2%（w/w）surface sizing agent is 0.5 g, antibacterial rate of the antibacterial kraft paper to E.coli is up to 99.94% and the growth of aspergillus niger can be inhibited effectively.
