Glimmer image intensifier is the core of the night vision equipment device，which can enhance weak optical images to fit the observed brightness of the human eyes.And then, through night vision equipment eyepiece system output. In this paper, we establish a failure model of the Glimmer image intensifier from the storage of failure mechanisms.and solve the protective packaging problems form storage of spare parts which take a long-term problem for our military. The solution of this problem can play an active role to improve the ability of our military night vision equipment support .
