Abstract

Printed paper packaging for food usually contain the photoinitiator like Irgacure-184, which can migrate into the packaged food. A new gas chromatographic method was established to detect the content of Irgacure-184 in contaminated milk. Migration behavior of Irgacure-184 to milk powder at high temperature was investigated. The result showed that migration speed increases with temperature increase and it is easier to reach equilibrium with larger total migration amount.
