The production management features of small and medium packaging enterprises were analyzed. The key factors hindering cloud computing of MRP were introduced. A MRP cloud computing architecture was designed and a parallel improvement of MRP algorithm was proposed combined with cloud computing technologies. The algorithm not only can greatly improve the running speed of MRP, but also can help to build MRP cloud.
