Abstract

An accelerated solvent extraction followed by gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry was developed for determination of bisphenol A, bisphenol F and their derivatives residuals in food contact materials. Samples were extracted with dichloromethane in an accelerated solvent extractor, and derivatized by a commercial acetic anhydride prior to GC-MS/MS analysis. The results showed that the recovery of BPA, BPF, BFDGE and BADGE was in the range of 78.9%~101.1%, with the relative standard deviation (RSD) value less than 10%; the linearity is good (R-2 > 0.995); the detection limits are 0.2, 0.1, 5, and 5 ng/g respectively. It was concluded that the method is simple, fast, sensitive, and of good repeatability.
