The materials, technologies, packaging machines and so on used in food package may bring pollution to food and cause the problems in food safety. The main technical problems of China's food packaging machines in the aspect of food safety were analyzed. The technical development path of China's food packaging machines was discussed. It was put forward that the focus of scientific and technological development of food packaging machines is the application of high-end pragmatic high-tech. The only way for setting up China's food packaging new system and guaranteeing food safety is to use high-tech in specialized development, to implement GMP manufacturing standard and to improve development and design ability of green packaging machines.
