Abstract

Physical and optical dot gain model in inkjet was applied to ameliorate error diffusion halftone algorithm. An error diffusion halftone algorithm was put forward, which considers dot gain effect of inkjet printing. The algorithm can depress dot gain in image screening process and improve print quality.
