The existing problem of web package machine and reusable product modules were analyzed. The flanging mechanism of web package machine was analyzed with technical analysis, motion analysis, and force analysis using problems based innovative approach and ideal solution of TRIZ theory. The flanging mechanism was designed. Web was rotated by differential system; coattail flanging structure was designed to make packaging film shrink naturally to the center of web; commonality of part was increased to reuse these parts in product. The actual use of this mechanism proved that it can meet application requirements.
