Abstract

The work aims to gain a deeper understanding of the role of inkjet printing technology in the manufacturing of display devices, explore the application fields and scenarios of this printing technology, and accelerate the commercial and industrial production of inkjet printed large-sized displays. The analysis highlighted the deficiencies in current processes for display device manufacturing, and detailed the principles and technological advantages of inkjet printing. A lot of research examples and achievements were cited to further elucidate the technology's application and impact, particularly in the production of Organic Light-Emitting Diodes (OLEDs) and Quantum Dot Light Emitting Diodes (QLEDs). Ultimately, the study identified current development bottlenecks and suggested potential solutions. It has been proven that inkjet printing technology has unique advantages in printing display manufacturing, with wide applicability and huge application value. Although the road towards industrial production is challenging, the prospects are promising.
