Abstract

To reduce excessive vibration in an independently driven cigarette maker under high speed, the work aims to study the modal analysis and vibration absorption of the device. The digital model of the cigarette maker was built, and the modal analysis was analyzed by finite element method. The intrinsic frequencies and vibration modes of the first five orders were extracted to investigate their effects on the cigarette maker performance. The modal test of the cigarette maker was designed to verify the reliability of the calculated modes. The optimization design method of reinforcement based on load flow was proposed to realize the structural vibration reduction. The error between the modal frequencies calculated by finite element simulation and the experimental modal frequencies for each order was less than 5%, while the intrinsic frequency of the first order by the improved cigarette maker system increased by 14%, effectively avoiding the excitation frequency range of the cutter head. The main reason for the excessive vibration of the original high speed cigarette maker is that the first-order intrinsic frequency resonates within the excitation frequency range of the cutter head. The excitation frequency of the improved cigarette maker system effectively avoids the resonance range, and the quality of cigarette production can be improved, which provides technical support for the structural vibration reduction design of high speed cigarette maker system.
