Design of Auxiliary Glue Applicator for YB65 Strip Box Trademark Paper Packaging Machine

Abstract

The work aims to solve the problems of quality defects of strip box trademark paper packaging caused by missed or defective glue point at short edge of YB65 type strip box trademark paper packaging machine in the production due to deformation of strip box. An auxiliary glue applicator for strip box was developed, which consisted of a fiber optic sensor, a two-way three-way solenoid valve and a positive pressure blower. Positive pressure blower was used to make the two short edges of the strip box fit closely with the glued claws by pushing the short edges of trademark paper forward. With the application of the auxiliary glue applicator of YB65 strip box trademark paper packaging machine, the number of missed glue points at short edge or incomplete cigarettes caused by the deformation of strip box trademark paper was reduced from 95.3 strips/month per machine before application to 0, which was 100% lower. The number of dirty parts at the short edge of the strip box trademark paper was reduced from 14.9 strips/month per machine before application to 0, which was 100% lower. This applicator can effectively avoid the quality problems of missed or defective glue points at short edge caused by the deformation of the strip box trademark paper, and has a high promotion and application value.
