Abstract
The work aims to solve the general problems in express delivery, such as various sizes of packaging boxes, excessive winding tape, high damage rate and difficulty in recycling, etc. A modular research model of green express packaging carton was built up through the analytic hierarchy process (AHP), and the score of consumers for express packaging carton was obtained through the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. The weight of social benefit was 0.578, indicating that consumers paid more attention to environmental awareness, privacy and labor problem. At the same time, the weight of atmospheric emissions was 0.724, which was the highest; and the weight of labor problems was 0.074, which was the lowest, indicating that consumers wanted to improve the space utilization rate of express logistics tools, and reduce its pollution to the environment, but paid little attention to the labor consumption of couriers of packaging, unloading and picking up of packages. Two kinds of green express packaging cartons with zero adhesive tape, self-locking bottom, and easy to fold, which have the function of both protection and secondary utilization are designed. At the same time, the dimension specification of green express packaging carton is standardized, and eight types of packing sizes and four types of stacking models of express boxes were proposed. They control the waste of resources at the source of express delivery, reduce the damage rate of express packaging cartons, improve the utilization rate of logistics space and the recovery rate of express packaging cartons, and provide a theoretical reference for the implementation of modularization of express packaging cartons in China.
