Abstract

This paper proposes an equipment efficiency evaluation system combined with OEE, which can reflect the working status of the cigarette production machine accurately in real time. First, based on the traditional OEE method, a kind of equipment efficiency evaluation standard for the cigarette production machine applied to continuous manufacturing is put forward through analyzing the difference between discrete manufacturing and continuous manufacturing. Then, the equipment efficiency evaluation system is proposed through analyzing the structural characteristics of each unit of the cigarette production machine, which can collect equipment running status data in real-time and analyses dynamically. Furthermore, the system has been deployed to six cigarette production lines of Hubei Tobacco Company for six months. The results show that the equipment net efficiency of cigarette production machine increases by 6.44% on average year-on-year with the support of our efficiency evaluation system, which proves the proposed method is accurate and efficient in mapping the factors with production efficiency of cigarette production machines. In conclusion, the equipment efficiency evaluation standard we proposed can effectively reflect the operation status and influencing factors of the cigarette production machine, so that users can adjust the equipment running status pertinently and quickly, and the equipment efficiency evaluation worth popularizing in continuous manufacturing.
