Abstract

With biomass pulp as the main raw material and various biomass waste fibers as fillers, a degradable lightweight foaming buffer material was prepared by one-step molding with abundant biomass resources by adopting physical turbulent mechanical mixing method. Through different kinds of biomass fillers and ratio changes, the changing relationship of cushioning properties of cushioning materials products was studied. The results show that the cushioning performance of corn straw foam is better than that of hemp core material under the same filling ratio. Under same filling condition, the filling ratio is 30%-40%, and the buffer performance is good. This material is of great significance for exploring the use of biomass waste to develop new environmental protection packaging materials instead of foam plastic products and then providing reference for industrial application.
