Abstract

The paper is to review the research and application status of bacterial cellulose antibacterial composites at home and abroad, in order to prepare bacterial cellulose composite materials with excellent antibacterial properties. This paper summarizes the antibacterial properties of bacterial cellulose antibacterial composite materials and their latest synthesis methods, including synthesis of bacterial cellulose antibacterial composite materials with inorganic antibacterial agents, organic antibacterial agents or the use of added antibiotics, and further explain the application of bacterial cellulose antibacterial composite materials field. Bacterial cellulose composites have excellent antibacterial properties and have great application potential in the fields of medicine, food packaging and water purification, which need to be further studied systematically.
