Abstract

In this study, we propose a color measurement system based on the image and spectral technology, which can be used to measure the color data of cigarette package printing samples. Further, the images of cigarette package printing samples can be obtained through camera, and some regions are selected as the measurement regions. The spectrometer is moved by the motor to the measurement regions and the spectral reflectance data is so obtained. The color data is calculated by the algorithm module. This system greatly reduces the amount of manual work in the color detection process of cigarette package printing samples, and realizes automatic continuous color measurement. The repeatability test accuracy of this system can be maintained within , reaching the measurement accuracy of handheld color measurement equipment. Subsequently, the experimental results indicate that the proposed system can be employed to measure the color data of cigarette package printing samples with a low cost and possesses a wide application prospect.
