Effects of 1-MCP Combined with Ozone Treat on Postharvest Storage Quality of Crystal Grapes

Abstract

The purpose is to study the effect of 1-MCP combined with ozone treatment on the quality of crystal Grape during low-temperature storage and to provide basis for prolonging the storage period of crystal grapes. Crystal grapes were first fumigated with a concentration of 1 μL/L 1-MCP and then treated with 4 different concentrations of ozone. After treatment, Crystal grapes were stored in fresh-preserved storehouse with a temperature of (1±0.3)°C and relative humidity of (90±5)%. The results showed that the rot rate (20.43%), browning rate (40.44%), and the threshing rate (33.43%) of the appearance phase indexes were lower than the remaining treatment groups when the 1-MCP combined with ozone treatment with a concentration of 4 mg/L was stored in 60 d, the content of soluble solids (13.36%) and titratable acids (0.48%) in the taste evaluation indexes were higher than that of the other groups, and the nutrient indexes vitamin C(82.71 mg/kg) and polyphenol (398.62 mg/kg) were also higher than the other groups. From the above, that used of 1-MCP fumigation and used of 4 mg/L ozone for treatment were more conducive to maintaining the quality of crystal grapes in during storage.
