Abstract

The work aims to explore the effect of BioSuee films with different thickness and materials on the quality of Korla fragrant pears during shelf life, and BioSuee films suitable for shelf life packaging of fragrant pears are screened out, which provided technical reference for production and application. Xinjiang Korla fragrant pears are encased in BioSuee films (T1,T2,T3) and PE film(CK), and then stored for 18 days under the shelf life condition of 18~20 ℃. The effects of BioSuee films on the quality of fragrant pear fruit during shelf life are studied by analyzing the changes of gas components and physiological indexes in the packaging bags. The shelf-life quality of fruit could be well maintained by BioSuee film treatment, and the effect of T1, T2 and T3 groups are sightly different. T2 treatment has a significant effect on inhibiting pericarp yellowing, pulp softening and rotting. In the middle and late period, the CO2content of T2 group always remains range from 2%~3%, and the O2 fluctuates range from 10%~12%. On the 12th day of shelf life, the yellowing index of the pericarp rotting index mass loss rate, and relative electrical conductivity of T2 group are 0.2281, 0.20, 1.076 and 25.46%, which are 53.23%, 74.88%, 41.46% and 58% of CK group. And the decrease of the hardness, soluble solid content, titratable acidity and Vitamin C are significantly inhibited by T2 treatment and T2 group has good comprehensive quality. Compared with T1 and T3 groups, T2 group can better maintain the fruit quality of fragrant pears during shelf life.
