Abstract

The work aims to design a universal automatic packaging system for porcelain according to the packaging technology of porcelain with different specifications in view of easy breaking of porcelain after falling. In order to adapt to porcelain packages with different specifications, the system used infrared scanning to detect the shape of porcelain and designed 3 automatic working modes. Based on the principle of Cartesian coordinate system, a rotating platform and a two-degree-of-freedom airbrush were used to realize the 3D full packing of porcelain. The high-power steering gear was used to accurately control the eruption time and intensity of the airbrush. The system also had the function of limit alarm and blowing agent flow control, which ensured the stability of the system and improved the practicability of the system. Through the flow control test, the problems of poor flow stability of airbrush and uneven connection of packaging layer were solved. The results showed that the bigger the angle of airbrush was, the bigger the diameter of spray gun was and the better the effect of blowing agent was. The effectiveness of the system was verified by the on-site porcelain packaging experiments. The packaging system breaks the current pattern that the packaging machine can only pack porcelain with fixed shape, and realizes one machine for general use and instant packaging on site. The system has the advantages of high automation, good packaging quality, high packaging efficiency and low cost, which improves the economic benefit of packaging industry.
