Abstract

The work aims to solve the problems of delivery delay and extra cost caused by production disturbance to mixed-order packaging line. The traditional mixed-order packaging line was connected with Internet of things (IoT) to realize the real-time perception of production resources and timely obtain the real information of the production site. Oriented to the production environment of IoT-enabled mixed-order packaging line, the connection between physical world and digital world was constructed based on digital twin system, the twin data set was formed through entity perception of IoT and information transmission of network, and the twin data driven information architecture of multi-station synchronized optimization for IoT-enabled mixed-order packaging line was established. According to the procedure constraints of the packaging task, the dynamic association of multiple stations was established to realize the real-time coordination of production information among stations, and then the synchronized intelligent optimization of the task queue was realized through the algorithm. Through the application in a motorcycle cover-tyre packaging line, the objective function value of task queue decreased by 36.1% after optimization. The effectiveness and feasibility of the IoT-enabled multi-station synchronized optimization method proposed were verified. The IoT-enabled mixed-order packaging line proposed can provide hardware support for intelligent manufacturing in real time, and multi-station synchronized optimization based on digital twin provides intelligent decision-making tool support.
