Abstract

The work aims to break the traditional packaging form of household appliances foam with carton, make bold and innovative design of heat shrinkable packaging for small household appliance gas cooker without carton, and use CAE analysis method to evaluate the cushioning performance of the packaging. According to the characteristics of the gas stove product, the cushion structure was designed. The packaging form of the heat shrinkable film directly wrapping the product and the cushion pad was evaluated. The product model was completed with Pro/E, and the ANSYS Workbench was introduced to complete the drop simulation analysis. Finally, the experiment was carried out. The simulation results showed that the maximum acceleration occurred at 5.6 ms, the maximum value was 18.86g less than the product brittle value, and the simulation result was qualified. After the drop test, the cushion pad was deformed, and the product was intact without damage, so the packaging scheme was qualified. The feasibility of the heat shrinkable packaging of the gas stove without carton is verified, and the new ideas for the subsequent carton-free packaging of small household appliances are presented.
