Abstract
The work aims to investigate the uniformity of color space of CIECAM02 and iCAM and the effect of image reproduction applied in different viewing conditions. The uniform color data sets were used to test the color space uniformity of color appearance models, and the visual evaluation experiments were conducted to test the image reproduction effect of two color appearance models. The results showed that the color appearance space of CIECAM02 performed better in color difference, and the color appearance space of iCAM performed better in hue, lightness and chroma uniformity. CIECAM02 performed better in image reproduction under different viewing conditions. The color space of iCAM is suitable for calculating color appearance attributes, while the color space of CIECAM02 is more suitable for color difference calculation. In the image replication under different viewing conditions, CIECAM02 has a more stable performance, but it is not better for all the images.
