Abstract

The work aims to design an automatic coin differentiating and wrapping machine in order to classify, sort out and package the coins. Under the control of PLC program, the coins were orderly separated through the feeding mechanism; then, the sorted coins were counted, reversed and wrapped; finally, the wrapped coins would be moved into the packaging boxes. Featured by accurate classification, high precision and high speed, the designed automatic coin differentiating and wrapping ma-chine could distinguish 4 currencies and its speed could reach 14 volumes/min. The proposed machine is suitable for the wide-spread use in the agencies with large coin circulation and has better market prospect.
