Abstract

The work aims to establish the solid phase extraction-gas chromatography to determine seven short chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCPs) in plastic food packaging materials. Seven kinds of SCCPs in plastic food packaging materials were ultrasonically extracted by the mixed solution of acetone and n-hexane at 50 ℃, purified by silica gel column chromatography and qualitatively and quantitatively determined by gas chromatography-electron capture detector. In the range of 0.1~100.0 mg/kg, the mass concentration and chromatographic peak area had a good linear relation and the linear correlation coefficients were all greater than 0.9997. The detection limit ranged from 0.01 mg/kg to 0.10 mg/kg, the recoveries ranged from 86.4% to 102.7%, and RSD ranged from 1.2% to 3.7%. The method has high accuracy, good precision and low detection limit, which can provide a new method for the detection of SCCPs in plastic food packaging materials.
