It aims to analyze the connotation of service product design. Based on the document analysis, we can clarify the four stages of product evolution in the context of industrial design and the features of service product in the paradigm of service design. From the perspective of product design context, the development of product design can be divided into four periods of "goods→products→commodities→service". Correspondingly, service product design transforms from the beauty of artifacts creating to the change of meaning making, and the focus of design is on the kansei value creation based on products' meaning making.
