Objective To investigate the experimental accelerated factors corresponding to the package transportation test condition recommended by GJB 150.16A. Methods Based on the fatigue damage equivalence basic theory of the Miler-Palmgrem model, a mathematical equation between the experimental accelerated factor, actual vehicle speed and fatigue parameter of the tested structure was proposed. And a quantitative analysis was conducted on accelerated factors for different application status. Results Under the package transportation test condition recommended by GJB 150.16A, the accelerated factor differed a lot with different transportation conditions (vehicle speed) and structural material (fatigue parameter), ranging from 1.6 to 9.0 simulating different application status. Conclusion Thus, taking the effect of application status on accelerated factor into consideration while designing packaging products transportation testing is important.
