The relation among fountain solution parameters was studied with experiments based on main ingredients of the solution. The influence of fountain solution concentration, isopropyl alcohol and temperature on the PH value and electric conductivity of the solution was analyzed. The relation curves among parameters and function relations were gained by using non-linear regression. Experimental results indicated that the fountain solution concentration and isopropyl alcohol have a great impact on pH value and electric conductivity of fountain solution; the temperature has a little influence on PH value and electric conductivity of the solution. The purpose was to provide reference for controlling offset ink-water balance.
