The application possibilities of JDF used in the printing quality detection process was discussed according to the JDF specification release 1.4a. The quality control node of the printing was analyzed and introduced detailedly. Quality detection related resources were added and namespace was applied for them. The JDF document was checked using CheckJDF server. The result proved that the JDF document is valid.
