Bleaching Characteristics of Caragana Korshinskii APMP Pulp

The paper aims to study the bleaching characteristics of caragana korshinskii APMP pulp with single-stage, two-stage H2O2 and two-stage H2O2-Na2S2O4. The bleaching characteristics of Caragana Korshinskii APMP pulp and the effects of the dosage of H2O2, reaction temperature and time in single H2O2 bleaching and the dosage of H2O2 and Na2S2O4 in two-stage bleaching on the brightness and physical properties of bleached pulp were investigated. The optimum condition of single-stage H2O2 bleaching was as follows: the dosage of H2O2 was 5.0%, the bleaching temperature was 80 ℃, and the bleaching time was 90 min. Under these conditions, the whiteness of pulp increased from 47.71% to 64.87%, whiteness increased by 36% and the tensile strength, burst strength and tear strength of paper were also improved. The effect of two-stage bleaching of Caragana Korshinskii APMP pulp was better than that of single-stage bleaching under the condition of a certain amount of H2O2。The whiteness of pulp after two-stage bleaching of H2O2-Na2S2O4 was higher than that of single-stage H2O2 bleaching, but the bonding strength of pulp was lower than that of single-stage H2O2 bleaching. Caragana Korshinskii APMP pulp could be bleached with single-stage and two-stage H2O2. The effect of two-stage H2O2 is better than that of single-stage H2O2.
